THE ADVANTAGE OF SHOT BLASTING

Shot Blasting is a method of treating metal surfaces to remove rust or paint to leave a smooth surface for Powder Coating. It also acts as an etch to improve the paint adhesion.

The Process

Shot blasting utilises iron fillings know as grit and should not be used on aluminium or porous surfaces. We recommend the use of Shot Blasting when refurbishing old parts and equipment
